I’m sorry folks, things have been pretty hectic around here for the last couple of weeks, and I have not been able to do a lot on my blog, and now Mirry and I are going to be away for an indeterminate length of time.

Will advise those of you whom we know by e-mail when we start it up again, as it could be some time, in the meantime keep looking up, who knows but what the Lord could return before we get back.

No. 32. Antichrist – From Europe or From The Middle East. Part 2.

I believe that the idea of a Revived Roman Empire being Antichrist’s power base, is based on two verses.    No. 1.  is Dan 9:26  And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

We know that the armies of the Roman Emperor Titus, destroyed the Temple, however, Titus was an Emperor, Titus was not a Prince.   A prince is someone who has no kingdom, that certainly did not apply to Titus.    The prince that is to come is Satan, as Jesus Himself intimated in John 14:30  “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.”  The prince of the power of the air, the prince of this World, is Satan.    I believe it is clearly Satan who is in view in Dan 9:26, and it was certainly Satan’s people who destroyed the Temple, worshippers of false Gods and idols all of them, a few from Rome but the majority were Arabs, Syrian and Assyrian soldiers, all of them Satan’s people.

No. 2 is Rev 17:9  And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.   Many say this is Rome, because Rome is built on seven hills.   Please Note that the Bible says seven MOUNTAINS  (Oros) in the Greek, not seven hills (Bounos) in Greek.    Mountains in Scripture often refer to Empires, and the Ancient Greek Empire was the main one of the seven Empires.   The Greek Empire encompassed almost all of the other empires, Assyrian,  Egyptian,  Babylonian,  Persian,  Greek, and later in history, the Roman Empire, (Eastern leg only) and the Ottoman Empire.

After the rapture, hundreds of millions of pretend Christians who currently deny so much of God’s word and who walk in the ways of the world, will turn to Christ, and millions and millions of them will be beheaded for their faith.  Rev 7:9 – 14.   Beheading is the favoured method of killing by Islam.   The rest, all non Christian, all unbelievers, from Islam-ism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Animism, Atheism, idol worshippers, spirit worshippers etc. etc. will all worship Antichrist, all who do not confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God the Father. The Harlot of Revelation 17 will be made up of all these unbelievers, from all around the globe. Let us make sure we are not among those who get left behind.  Luke 12:40  You must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.”

No. 32. Antichrist – From Europe or From The Middle East. Part 1.

For years we have been taught that Antichrist will come from a revived Roman Empire, (The EEC) and some even point to the Catholic Church.  This view does not agree with scripture.  Daniel 8:21 – 25 is proof positive that Antichrist will come from one of the four empires resulting from the death of Alexander the Great, after the dividing up of of his Greek Empire, just as Daniel prophesied.

“In the latter times” is equally correctly translated “in the last days” especially in the context of the passage.  (Strong’s Concordance)   Some say that verses 23-25 refer to Antiochus IV Epiphanes, however, he never stood up against Jesus Christ the Prince of princes, (verse 25), therefore it must refer to the last days as stated. Now Check out this map of the Greek Empire.  Greece never conquered Rome!!! http://library.thinkquest.org10805alexmap.html look at the Greek Empire in red on this map, does it look a lot like a leopard, with the feet of a bear and the head of a lion to you.   It sure does to me.  If you were to colour today’s Muslim Arab Emirates in red you have the hind legs also.   Now read Rev 13:2  “And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:”  The Greek Empire.  No sign of Rome.

Could God have made it any clearer than this?  The map shows that the Antichrist’s Kingdom is the Ancient Greek Kingdom which overthrew both previous kingdoms of Babylonia (Lions head) and Persia, (Bears feet) and according to Dan 8:23 Antichrist comes out of one of the four divisions of the ancient Greek Empire.   Here is an amazing fact, the Ancient Greek Empire is entirely Muslim today. All those nations are anti Christ and anti God the Father.

1 John 2:22  Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ?  He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son.  This is NOT true of the Catholic Church, they affirm that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God the Father.     BUT – the Islam denies both The Fatherhood of God, and the Sonship of Jesus Christ.   They say, “Allah neither begat, nor was begotten”  thus denying that  “Allah was ever a father, or that he was ever a son (begotten.)   This precludes Allah from being God the Father, and it also precludes him from being God’s son, Jesus Christ.

No. 31. More on Israel’s Samson Option.

Zec 14:12  And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.” (NKJV)

What causes this “plague” like effect?  “The Neutron Bomb” it dissolves flesh.  Israel has several hundreds of these bombs, from the size of a base ball, which would destroy a city block and kill all people within a five or six city block radius of the explosion, up to big ones that could take out large towns completely.  In fact, the Israelis hint at the fact that they also have other secret weapons, probably nuclear variations also developed by Samuel Cohen, who invented the Neutron Bomb.

Russia, China, France, and several other nations also have stockpiles of Neutron Bombs, as did South Africa until the whites destroyed them when Apartheid was abolished.  The US also destroyed their stockpile, preferring the much more devastating Thermonuclear weapons.

Most nuclear weapons are very difficult to make, requiring plutonium or highly enriched uranium, and their use in an area as small as Palestine would render the whole land uninhabitable for a thousand years because of radiation, not what Israelis, Arabs or Palestinians want.

Neutron Bombs are cheap and easy to make, using red mercury instead of plutonium or highly enriched uranium, and its damage to infrastructure such as houses, bridges, vehicles etc. is minimal, being confined to a very small area, but its effects on people, animals etc. is very wide spread reaching far beyond the blast area.   One good thing about a Neutron bomb, is that its radiation effects are very short lived, meaning people can quite quickly begin to inhabit the undamaged houses, and use the infrastructure and vehicles etc again.   This is perfect for Israel if fighting inside their own borders.

In the past, God used other nations to bring His judgement on Israel.  Now God is about to use Israel to bring His Judgement on the enemies of Israel, who are also the enemies of God and of His Christ.   Israel has hundreds of weapons stored up ready for the day when they will be required to save Israel from the millions of Arabs, Syrians, Palestinians, Lebanese, Iranians, Egyptians etc.  who will come against them and try to wipe the Israeli nation off the map forever.

No. 30. Matt 24:7 Prophecy Fullfilled. Part 2.

If we look at the rest of the world, we find exactly the same thing is happening all over the globe.  The world has recorded more earthquakes over 6 on the Richter scale so far this year, than they used to record in five years in the 1980s.  Nearly every country is experiencing events rated “the worst in living memory,” whether it be hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, droughts, storms resulting in massive flooding, mud slides, huge fires such as Europe, the US and Canada are still battling at present and volcanoes erupting etc.

Taiwan reports, 108 confirmed dead and hundreds still missing in mud slides  as Typhoon Morakot leaves a trail of death and destruction behind, and then heads to China, where at least another 6 are reported dead, and over 1,000,000 people had to be evacuated as 2000 homes, and still counting, were demolished by the storm.   Floods and mudslides are following in the wake of this storm, and another typhoon is already brewing.

Breaking news from Japan, a magnitude 6.4 quake shook buildings, threw objects from shelves and jolted people from their sleep in Tokyo area at 0507 on Monday 10-08-2009.   The US Geological Survey said another quake – unrelated to Japan’s – with a 7.6 magnitude hit the Indian Ocean about 257km (160 miles) north of Port Blair in the Andaman Islands.    These earthquakes come the day after an earthquake of magnitude 6.9 hit Japan on Sunday, but caused no damage or casualties.    All these seismological events in Taiwan, China, Japan and the Andaman Islands happened in just three days.   What the scientists are saying, is that it is not the numbers of storms, earthquakes etc. that has them worried, it is the rapidly increasing intensity, magnitude and ferocity of these events which is worrying, earthquakes, storms floods, droughts etc, have always been with us, but there has been a 500% increase in the number of really large scale disasters of all kinds over the past 30 years.

Add to these, the swine flu pandemic, the disastrous UG99 wheat rust epidemic carried by the wind currently sweeping through North Africa and the Middle East wiping out crops, and for which world scientist have no antidote, terrible droughts in Northern Russia and Northern China.   Plus the black plague which has cropped up again in China and in Africa, and a new mutation of the HIV virus has been found in humans, over a billion people dying from starvation around the world,  wars and civil strife in a huge number of countries are currently in progress, and more nations and peoples are currently threatening with war and destruction with  than ever before.  This will continue I believe until the Rapture takes place.

Oh yes, and did anyone mention “Global Warming” with low lying Island nations at risk as their islands keep getting smaller and smaller as rising seas wash them away?  Has any body thought it may God, trying to get man’s attention.   Luke 21:28   when these things begin to happen, look up, for your redemption draws near.

No. 29. Matt 24:7 Prophecy Fullfilled. Part 1.

Mat 24:7  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences,  ( Strongs 3061. says  loimos, loy-mos’;  a plague (lit. disease, figuratively a pest pestilence.)  and earthquakes, (Seismos – Strongs 4578. seismos, sice-mos’;  a commotion, i.e. (of the air) a gale, (of the ground) an earthquake:–earthquake, tempest in divers or in various places.)  Seismos also refers to volcanic activity.

So let us take a look at how we are going today in light of this prophecy by Jesus.   Let’s take Australia over the last couple of years, most of us should know about local affairs.   Our soldiers have been fighting in East Timor, in Iraq, in Afghanistan and our Police were in the Pacific Islands.  We have suffered through the worst drought in living memory, up until just over a year ago, and are still feeling its effects in much of south eastern NSW and Victoria.   A few months ago,  the worst bush fires in living memory swept through Victoria with  huge loss of life and property.    A few months ago,  the worst floods in living memory hit Queensland, over two thirds of Queensland was under water.   A few of months ago,  Western Australia recorded massive numbers of mini quakes hitting the wheat belt belt area.   Hundreds of earthquake tremors rock tiny WA town : thewest.com.au It was one of three that rocked the nation in 24 hours, the largest of which occurred off  Broome measuring 5.1 and the smallest at 4.6 shaking much of Melbourne.   The worst flu epidemic to hit Australia, the current “Swine Flu” is the worst in most peoples memory, spreading four times faster than any other flu, and with more complications and deaths on a ratio basis.  How are we doing so far?  I may have missed some you can think of.

This is just in Australia,  and compared to some countries, we are the lucky ones.  We still have plenty to eat, no one is fighting us in our own land yet.  As a nation we have survived the droughts, the fires, the storms and earthquakes with relatively little loss of life and property when compared to some countries.    Next time I will look at he rest of the world and see how they are faring.

No. 28. Who Believes Messiah Is Coming Soon?

The following information has been taken from recent news reports.

ISRAEL – A poll of Israelis finds 64%  believe the time has come to build the Third Temple, prophesied as happening in the “last days” of history. In January 2005, the Sanhedrin—the highest ruling body and court of justice among the Jewish people in the time of Jesus—convened for the first time in 1,600 years.    Construction of the Alter for the Third Temple has now begun.   Most of the Priestly Garments, the temple vessels, including the $2,000,000-00 Gold Menorah, and Temple art works etc have already been created, in strict accordance with God’s instructions to Moses.  Most of the materials required for Temple Building itself have also been created and or prepared and are in storage.   Many Israelis believe their Messiah is coming soon.

ISLAM. - Radical Islamic leaders in Iran, including their President, say the end of the world is at hand, and seek nuclear weapons to bring it about.    Islam’s virulent hatred of God’s chosen people Israel, whom they call “Little Satan” and of the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, mainly found in the US and Western Nations, whom they call “Big Satan”, is very revealing.   At first Mohammed called these people,  “The People of the Book” and was fairly reasonable to them. Later, he changed his stance. As we draw close to the end of the age of grace, we see Satan’s hatred of God and of all God’s people, whether Israeli, Jew or Christian, drives God’s enemies crazy in their efforts to try to exterminate God’s people.  The Muslim’s Messiah is called the Mahdi, and they believe that the Mahdi will come and help them finish the job of wiping out all Israelis, Jews and Christians, and conquor the whole world for Islam.    It is interesting that the description of the Mahdi in the Quran, matches perfectly the description of  Antichrist in the Bible. Many Muslims believe their Messiah is coming soon.

Christendom. – Only the committed born again Christians today believe their Messiah, Jesus Christ is coming soon, because they can see that global events are lining up exactly as Jesus Christ and the prophets said they would in the last days.   Many prophecies from the Old Testament and prophecies of Jesus Christ are being fulfilled right in front of our eyes. Many born again Christians believe their Messiah is coming soon. The question is if all these people are correct, are you ready for whatever is about to take place.   Mat 24:44  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

No. 27. The Samson Option. Part 2.

God often used other nations to punish Israel and other wicked nations.  In Isa 13:4-5 concerning Babylon it says  “Listen, a noise on the mountains, like that of a great multitude! Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms, like nations massing together! The LORD Almighty is mustering an army for war.  They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens– the LORD and the weapons of his wrath– to destroy the whole country.”  Clearly, God is going to use other nations as His weapons of wrath against Babylon when the time comes.

In other cases God Himself seen fighting for Israel.  Ezek 38:22,23  “I will execute judgment upon him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.  And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”

Israel’s defense forces are rated as fourth in the world.  Only the US and Russia have more nuclear weapons, and Israel’s other weapons are very high tech, better than the US or Russia’s.  If pushed too far, will Israel bring punishment upon their enemies, who are also God’s enemies, through nuclear warfare?  It certainly seems a possibility.

Isa 17:1 “Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.  The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.”  This certainly sounds like nuclear devastation.  But it seems that Israel will suffer greatly before she uses her nuclear weapons, as verse 4 says, “And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.” This prophecy is yet to be fulfilled, but it could happen very soon.

Will the Church still be here to see it?  “You must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.” Luke 12:40.

No. 26. Israel’s Samson Option. Part 1.

Israel began research on chemical, biological and nuclear weapons in 1948, determined never again to be put through another Holocaust.  Their leaders called it “The Samson Option” from the story in Judges 16:28-30 where Samson collapsed the pillars holding up the house,  killing nearly 3000 Philistine leaders and revellers with him in death.  Should Israel ever reach the point where they feel their enemies could wipe Israel out as a nation, their goal is to rain nuclear bombs on the countries of all their enemies, ensuring all their enemies also die.

It was the French who provided nuclear expertise and constructed the reactor complex in Israel capable of large-scale plutonium production and reprocessing.  In the early 1960s, Israel was able to go it alone, progressing rapidly through many secret operations, including several nuclear tests.  After the U S discovered their secret in 1958, it became subject to continual discussions between the US and Israeli.  Because the US had sided with Russia over the Suez Canal war, Israel initially deceived the United States, then later they used their nuclear option as a bargaining chip in order to get US conventional arms supplies.

Israel had never admitted having a nuclear arsenal.  In Dec 2008 Ehud Olmert let slip during an interview in Germany that Israel did indeed have nuclear weapons. Israel still doesn’t officially admitted it, but it is widely believed by experts in the field that Israel has a combination of between 300 & 400 nuclear fission (Atomic) bombs, and Nuclear Fusion (Thermonuclear) bombs,  not all of which have been assembled, but which are ready for assembly at a moments notice. Israel’s four German built submarines are probably armed with nuclear devices with multiple warheads enabling them to strike anywhere in the world.

The rest are safely secreted around the Negev desert, in case of an unexpected enemy attack.  Twice in the past these nuclear devices have been brought out and assembled ready for use.  The first time was before the 1967 Six-Day War, when they believed their nuclear facility was at risk, and reportedly assembled several nuclear bombs.   By the 1973 Yom Kippur War Israel had a number of sophisticated nuclear bombs, which they deployed them ready for use if required.

NO 25. Israel – God’s People – God’s Land. No 3.

Recent news items from Russia, Syria, Iran and Israel, all point to the fact that the war of Gog and Magog  is already being planned and prepared, as Russia begins readying its bases, gathering, arming and training its forces, and in general, preparing for a major battle in the near future.  (See Ezek 38 & 39, previously covered in blog No’s 14-17) These excerpts were taken from recent international news items.

“For the first time, Russia and Iran will hold a joint naval manoeuvre in the Caspian Sea, The Iranian Mehr News Agency reported Wednesday. According to the report, the manoeuvre will include 30 Russian and Iranian ships, as well as helicopters.”

“A high-ranking Russian navy source reported on July 21 09 that the Soviet-era naval maintenance base near Tartus in Syria is to be expanded and modernized to become  “fully operational.” ………..Vladimir Vysotsky and his Syrian counterpart Gen. Taleb al-Barri, had signed contracts for converting Tartus into one of Russia’s most highly-developed naval infrastructures outside its territory.”

“According to Israeli and Jordanian officials, Syria recently quietly struck a deal with Russia that allows Moscow to station submarines and war boats off Syrian ports. In exchange, Russia is supplying Syria with weaponry at lower costs, with some missiles and rockets being financed by Iran“.

I mentioned in an earlier blog, both Russia and Iran are piling powerful rockets into Syria, and from Syria many are being sent to Hezbollah in Lebanon, and some are also being smuggled into Gaza Strip through Egypt.     Many believe that when this war begins, Russia will threaten all nations who could come to Israel’s defense, with a nuclear holocaust in order to deter them.  Pray that God will protect Israel.

If only these nations would read their Bible and believe God’s Word, they could save themselves from being wiped out by God’s wrath for trying to totally annihilate  Israel, — God’s Chosen People.                God allowed Israel’s enemies to punish them for their wickedness throughout the centuries, but the day is coming very soon, when God shall destroy those nations for their wickedness and for what they have done, and are doing to His people.     Mat 24:44  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
